Professor Sarah Atkinson, curator of GLOW: Illuminating Innovation, will guide you through the various artworks and artefacts across the three main exhibition sites: The Arcade, The Strand Aldwych, and the Curiosity Cabinet.
You will find out more about the legacies of the artworks, gain insights into the creative process, hear the many untold histories of technological innovation, and learn about the incredible women involved. During the tour, you will also experience the interactive digital dimensions of the artworks, including the two newly commissioned Augmented Reality artworks on the Strand Aldwych.
There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Access to iPads will be provided.
The tour will take place on 20 March 2024 and 18 April 2024. Please book your tickets in advance using the link above.
The meeting point is at the Bush House South Wing entrance (outside The Arcade) at 4:30 pm.
Please wear weather-appropriate clothes and bring an umbrella if raining!
