Discover the impact you can have on education through governorships. Join this webinar to learn more about what being a governor involves.

King’s College London works with Governors for Schools to support our staff and alumni to make a meaningful contribution to society, and to help fill the 4,000 school governor vacancies across England and Wales.

You don’t need to be a teacher to make a difference, school boards are looking for skills of all kinds including finance, education, HR, negotiation and leadership. Whatever your professional background, your skills could transform a school.

By volunteering as a school governor, your experience could benefit hundreds of children and young people and it’s an opportunity to share your skills, develop new ones and give back.

Attend the webinar to learn what school governors are, what skills governors need, reasons to become a governor and the process for becoming a governor with Governors for Schools including how to apply. You can also learn about the support available through Governors for Schools including training and the free matching and support service to volunteers and state-funded schools.

Please register for this webinar to attend.
