While safe water is often considered to be a problem in poor countries, this talk will demonstrate that various toxins and pollutants are hidden in our local water in places like London and major UK cities. This pollution happens through everyday processes of producing food and consuming pharmaceuticals/medicines.

King's Water Centre presents the latest scientific findings on the causes and pathways of contamination. Through a series of short interdisciplinary talks, this online event will raise awareness and offer insights on the complex implications to health and potential preventative actions society can consider.
