Hopes, dreams and action: Shape the future and delivery of the King’s Sustainability Strategy 2026-30 (students only)

What hopes, dreams and actions do you want to see from King’s so it can play a leading role in social, economic and environmental sustainability?

The King’s Sustainability Strategy 2026-30 is currently being drafted, and we want to understand students’ priorities and views so that this Strategy can translate words on paper into genuine action!

This interactive, in-person consultation is open to all current King’s foundation, undergraduate, postgraduate and research students from all disciplines.

A light lunch will be provided. Please let us know any dietary or accessibility requirements when you register.

Whether you’re a domestic or international student, course representative, sustainability or climate justice enthusiast or simply curious to learn more, you will be able to:

  • Learn why the Strategy is relevant to you
  • Be honest! Share your feedback on the draft Strategy – what's working? What needs more attention? How can it be meaningfully implemented across the University and what actions are needed?
  • Develop skills such as critical thinking, communication, and providing constructive criticism
  • Network with students, staff, and SOS UK
  • Earn a £10 King’s Food voucher

The event will be co-delivered by King’s Climate & Sustainability and the education charity, Students Organising for Sustainability UK (SOS UK), including an alumnus of King’s.

Following the consultation period, an updated version of the Strategy will be sent for approval by the University Executive and Council. The final Sustainability Strategy will be published in spring 2026.

Further details about the event to follow.
