Abstract: Motile cells navigate through complex tissues in vivo during normal tissue repair and regeneration. We exploit the optical transparency of zebrafish larvae to image cell migration during wound repair. We will discuss the heterotypic cell-cell interactions and extracellular cues that mediate interstitial cell migration and resolution of inflammation in tissue damage and repair.
