In Conversation with Dr Helen Aveyard

Dr Helen Aveyard, King’s alumna and Principal Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University, will be in conversation at 4.30pm on Wednesday 10 April, Room 1.16, Franklin Wilkins Building.

Helen will talk about her career as a nurse, academic and scholar and about how she translated the principles of evidence-based medicine and the importance of reviewing the literature into a series of accessible textbooks (for example, Doing a Literature Review in Health and Social Care) which have become standard texts for students at all levels. Helen is looking forward to talking with members of Faculty and happy to take questions for about 20 minutes.
