This interactive session will present the work in progress outcomes of four residencies taking place at the research and innovation incubation space at the University of Nottingham – the Virtual and Immersive Production Studio – each exploring the capabilities of the popular and powerful new technologies shaping immersive production.

The residents are investigating the ways in which these technologies can be harnessed to support greater inclusivity and to address sustainability goals.

Participants will gain an early insight in to these novel projects and practices and through feedback, will have the opportunity to influence the future direction of these works.

The event will be chaired by Professor Helen W. Kennedy, Director of the Virtual and Immersive Production Studio, University of Nottingham, and feature artists Maggie Bain, Nina Willment, Marina Wainer and Jennifer Bell. Read all about their work here.

The artists' presentations will take place from 3-5 pm in Bush House Lecture Theatre 1 BH(S)1.01, followed by drinks and networking in BH(S)2.03 from 5-6 pm.
