Interdisciplinary Science for Teachers 2025
King's Building, Strand Campus, London

About the event
Join us for our first Interdisciplinary Science: Teacher Conference at King’s College London. Inspired by what we believe is necessary to find solutions to the big challenges facing our society. Whether it is global warming, health and aging populations, net zero targets, or food security, scientists that can work across the subject areas are in growing demand.
Find out about exciting research happening at the interface between disciplines and what this means for scientists and your students alike. You’ll hear from leading academics, talking about their research; the interdisciplinary science options available at King’s and employability for students that choose this path; and you’ll even take part in a practical activity of your own. In the spirit of interdisciplinarity we hope for a mixture of specialisms on the day so whether you are a physicist, chemist, biologist, computer scientist, or mathematician we welcome your perspective!
This free in-person event in central London is open to teachers of STEM subjects from London and beyond. The day will begin with registration and feature an exciting selection of talks around interdisciplinary science, a fun interdisciplinary practical to put the ideas into action, as well as opportunity for collaborating and networking.
