The London Institute for Advanced Light Technologies has planned its launch event to coincide with and celebrate the first annual International Day of Light.
The event will start with light demonstrations, experiments and art. This runs from 1pm until 4.30pm.
Prof. Vahid Sandoghdar, the Director of Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light , will give the opening talk at 4.30pm.
