At the heart of King’s College London’s vision for internationalisation are two core values: cultural competency and having a global problem solving mindset.

We define cultural competency as the ability to see the world through the lens of others – in all their diversity. This includes people from different nations and regions, socio-economic backgrounds, races, genders, ages, religions and abilities.

King’s is committed to developing successful students, staff and alumni who can contribute to building a better, fairer world around them. The best minds with a clear sense of mission and world changing ideas come to King’s and are helped to develop and implement these ideas.

During this interactive session, Professor ‘Funmi Olonisakin, the Vice President & Vice Principal for International, will inspire students with an introduction to what we mean by internationalisation at King’s. Students will also hear their peers and other members of King’s community talk about what internationalisation means to them, how it influences what they do and transforms their experience at King’s. Everyone is warmly invited to join the discussion.
