You are warmly invited to join us for the cultural event presenting the Italian Cultural Institute, the French Institute and the MLC. We are pleased to welcome Marco Delogu, the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Lucie Campos, the cultural attaché for books and ideas at the French Embassy and Paolo Nelli, a writer, who also teaches Italian at the MLC, King’s College London.

We hope you will join us for a lively debate about language, culture, literature and art on Thursday, the 9th of May from 16.00 until 18.00 at the Language Resource Centre, K-1.07.2, Strand Campus.

Some information about the presenters:

• Marco Delogu is the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in London. He is a photographer, filmmaker, publisher and editor, the founder of the publishing house Punctum and the artistic director of FOTOGRAFIA - the International Festival of Rome. He has published more than twenty books and exhibited internationally.
  
  
• Lucie Campos is the Cultural Attaché for books and ideas at the French Embassy in London. She has taught courses in comparative literature in a number of French Universities, edited several collective volumes on fiction and history and published a monograph on Sebald, Kertész and Coetzee Fictions de l'après. She is on the editorial board of the open access journal laviedesidees.fr and of the "Littérature, Histoire, Politique" series at Classiques Garnier.
  
  
• Paolo Nelli teaches Italian language and culture at King’s College London. He has written a number of novels and short story collections, including Golden Boot (Medea’s Boots), a coming-of-age novel set in the America (Fazi 2012) and Trattato di economia affettiva (Treatise on the Economy of Feeling), a novel about southern immigrants during the economic boom of the seventies in northern Italy (La Nave di Teseo 2018). He is one of the organisers of FILL, Festival of Italian Literature in London.
