The Annual Dinner and Duel Day Celebration, which commemorates the Duke of Wellington’s role in securing the right of King’s to offer education to all, will be held in the historic Vintners’ Hall in the City of London on Friday 10 March. The guest speaker will be Sir Max Hastings FKC, the eminent war historian and journalist.

The Worshipful Company of Vintners is one of the Twelve Great Livery Companies of the City of London. The original hall burnt down in the Great Fire of London; the present Hall was built and in use by 1671. Much of the original interior remains, including carving in the Hall and Court Room and a fine staircase.

This tickets for the black tie Dinner cost £99 to include a drinks reception and wine with dinner which is catered by Searcys. The ticket price is subsidised by KCLA. There will be an opportunity for up to 30 guests to enjoy a guided tour of the Hall prior to the AGM.
