Overview

Join the KCL Engineers' Association for an evening of speed networking with KCL Engineering and Womxn in STEM Societies.

KCLEA is collaborating with the KCL Engineering and Womxn in STEM Societies for an evening of speed networking for their members.

Meet fellow alumni and find out about their careers, ideas and views on the world to expand your perspectives whilst also passing on your experiences and learning from today's students.

KCLEA is aware that the transition into work is a very complex time, so we particularly welcome those who've graduated in the past few years to share how they started in the industries and to network with fellow alumni. We also welcome a few members with more than 25 years' experience to give an overview of how engineering has changed, giving some inspiration to student and recent alumni's aspirations.

KCLEA exists to promote connections between the graduates of any form of Engineering at King's College London through events both in person and virtually, and its members support the staff and students through meetings, mentoring and research collaboration.

Speed Networking

KCLEA members will pair up and meet with a small group of students, networking quickly and then moving on to further groups. The request from the Societies is for the second year students to find out what the world of Engineering is really like, and discover the wide range of careers that graduates can follow to aid selection of third year options. We're hoping that penultimate year students will attend so that they can start thinking about the opportunities available to them as they transition from academic study to employment. In their final semester, they can join the KCLEA LinkedIn Group to talk to our members.
