Increasing evidence reflects the growing burden of mental health challenges for children and young people across society. With 50% of adult mental health issues having their roots before the age of 15, this is undoubtedly a pressing issue for the population as a whole.

The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s conducts cutting edge research working closely in partnership with The South London and Maudsley NHS Trust (SLaM), which provides the widest range of children’s mental health services in Europe.

As part of our King’s Experts Series, join Executive Dean of the IoPPN, Ian Everall who will chair a discussion with our panelists Dr Bruce Clark, Dr Troy Tranah and Dr Trudi Seneviratne, as we discuss some of the crucial work taking place across King's and our Health Partners in the area of children and young people’s mental health.

Have a question for the panel? Tune in live on Monday, 23 November, 17:00 GMT or submit your questions in advance to alumnievents@kcl.ac.uk.

Join the wider conversation and discuss what you think about children and young people's mental health on the King's College London Alumni LinkedIn page and using the hashtag #KingsExpertsSeries.
