We’re so excited to be visiting Singapore for the first time since 2019, and it would be great to see you at our flagship alumni event at The Fullerton Hotel. We hope that you will join us in reconnecting with King's and your fellow alumni on Wednesday 16 November at 18.30.

King’s new President and Principal, Professor Shitij Kapur will be joining us for the first time to share the latest news from King’s, including highlights about the world-changing impact of King’s research and our international outreach.

300 Cynthia

This year we will be joined by alumna Cynthia Salim. Cynthia is an Indonesian-American entrepreneur, investor, and advisor. Early in her career, she was named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 in New York for her work as the Founder & CEO of Citizen’s Mark, an award-winning luxury ethical fashion brand. Upon returning to Singapore, Cynthia led Straits Clan, a luxury hospitality concept by the Lo & Behold Group, through its development and acquisition by a regional real estate group. A seasoned start-up operator with experience spanning from fulfillment warehousing to e-commerce, luxury fashion, and hospitality, Cynthia now sits on the other side of the entrepreneurial table as a venture capital investor.

She leads Asia expansion for Target Global, a European venture capital firm with over €3 billion in assets under management. Prior to her entrepreneurial career, Cynthia worked in human rights in the United Nations community in Geneva, Switzerland. Cynthia attended King’s College London as a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar and is now a member of the Rotary Club of Raffles City.

These events are not to be missed, so we hope to see you there.
