Speed reading is a valuable skill that can be developed throughout your time at university. It can be useful to help you read through text quickly and fluently in a way that ensures you also absorb the information. However, it is not a skill that can be learned overnight. Speed reading takes time, practice, and the right methods to increase speed and comprehension.

Speed reading challenges your brain to perform at a higher level. When you train your brain to be able to take in information faster, other areas of your brain will also improve such as your memory.

Come join King's study skills leader Aleida Borges, who will share techniques and best practices she has gained over the years. Aleida will host a presentation which will be useful when applying these skills to your studies. There will be plenty of time set aside for questions so start thinking about any you would like answers for.

We look forward to seeing you at this event and taking an active step to bettering your academic experience.
