Come along and explore portraits of autistic young people, their allies, autism researchers and students, co-created by participants and Mario Ruiz Sorube. The exhibition is produced by Monica Arevalo, visual designer in the brand-new Science Gallery at London Bridge. You will not only see the faces, but will get to also hear the voices of our community in podcasts recorded by Jon Adams.
The project was led by Dr. Kinga Bercsenyi and was funded by the Wellcome and the NIHR Maudsley BRC.
We will make this event as inclusive and accessible as possible. There will be a quiet space for those wishing to take time out. We will also offer guests a colour coded badge which tells others whether you want to have conversations or not. A photographer will be present at the event, we will hand out badges indicating whether you are happy with having pictures taken of you.
We will send a detailed guide to every participant to the email address provided during Eventbrite registration. Please enquire at kinga.bercsenyi@kcl.ac.uk if you need further information!
