Losing one’s sense of self: exploring the effects of frontal lobe brain damage (Workshop)

This creative workshop, run by artists Isla Millar and Iris Musel, invites participants to consider what is it that creates our sense of self? This will be explored through the creation of personalised “ID cards”. The workshop is inspired by the artists’ collaborative project with the IoPPN Department of Basic & Clinical Neuroscience, which explores how using art as a research tool can help individuals with frontal lobe damage communicate their loss of identity.

Materials will be provided and no previous experience is necessary.
