In the light of current health advice and safety measures being implemented by King’s, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the micro-volunteering sessions we had planned as part of Make Do Play and King’s Global Day of Service for the 26th March. We’re sorry not to be able to run this session at this time, however the health and safety of staff and students and alumni is our highest priority.
In the meantime, if you still want to Make Do and Play our weekly creative prompts will still be going out every Monday. Sign up here to receive creative challenges straight into your email.

To celebrate King's Global Day of Service, we’re taking over Make Do Play with a selection of creative micro-volunteering activities. Make wiggly-bags for Evelina Children's Hospital, twiddle blankets for older people with dementia, or decorate and write personalised cards to sick children at our drop-in Make Do Good stalls.

This activity forms part of King's Global Day of Service. This year, King’s Global Day of Service is on Wednesday 25th March (to celebrate the day King’s was founded) but any volunteering activities that take place in March can contribute to the university's volunteering hours.

Drop-in anytime between 11.30-15.30. Please let us know that you'll be coming, and to which campus, by registering on eventbrite

Taking place simultaneously at the Arcade, Bush House, The Shed, Guy's Campus & The Conservatory, Franklin-Wilkins Building, Waterloo Campus.

These sessions will also be attended by student ambassadors from King’s Campus Conversations and KCLSU’s Positive Peers, to encourage and facilitate meaningful conversations which support your wellbeing and resilience.

Make Do Play is produced by the university's Culture team for the King's Cultural Community.
