Mechanisms of Il10 gene regulation in CD4T cells: all roads lead to IL-2

Speaker: Leona Gabryšová, The Francis Crick Institute

Speaker bio: Leona Gabryšová undertook her PhD in Immunology in the laboratory of David Wraith at the University of Bristol, where she studied the differentiation pathway of IL-10 secreting regulatory T cells during repeated exposure to self-peptides as part of immunotherapy for the treatment of autoimmune diseases. Having sparked an interest in IL-10, she then joined the Anne O’Garra laboratory at the National Institute for Medical Research as a postdoc, now a senior project research scientist at The Francis Crick Institute, to study the molecular mechanisms regulating IL-10 versus pro-inflammatory cytokine production in CD4+ T cells
