Kairos Europe, established in 2011, is an organisation dedicated to promoting the development of programmes aimed at increasing intercultural exchanges.
Funded by an ERASMUS+ grant, Migration in Europe is an education and training project led by Kairos Europe that aims to provide a general introduction to the topic of migration in Southern Europe and the issues related to migration in the region.
During this special event for Refugee Week 2022, Kairos will share the aims of their organisation and upcoming training opportunities open to King's students and staff to learn more about migration in Southern Europe and related issues.
Participants will learn more about how they can apply for exciting training programmes offered by Kairos, including courses taking place in Spain and Greece in September 2022 that focus on different aspects of migration, including women and unaccompanied minors, and the impact of the climate crisis.
During this event, former training participants from King's (including students, academics and professional services staff) will also share their experiences on the training, the skills they gained and how they have implemented their learnings.
