Cultivate the skill of self-compassion at this free taster session in the Garden of Emotions at Science Gallery London at Guy's Campus on ‘University Mental Health Day’.

Mindful Self-Compassion teaches principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with self-kindness, a sense of common humanity and balanced, mindful awareness. Based on research by Dr Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Dr Christopher Germer, in this session, begin to explore this area with the session’s facilitator, Jenny Sergeant, CBT Practitioner and King’s Masters in Neuroscience of Mindfulness graduate. This session is hosted by Think Mental (KCLUSU’s Mental Health Society).

 

All King’s students are welcome. No previous experience is required.
