This sculptural installation presents work by ceramic artist Amanda Doidge, whose collaboration with Benjamin Dalton at the Department of French and academics at the Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience Institute at the IoPPN opens dialogues between the neurosciences and the arts surrounding conceptions of “plasticity”. It begins with the idea that contemporary conceptions of neuroplasticity – the mutability of the human brain – share common grounds with the thinking of plasticity in sculpture.

The two installations can be seen in the IoPPN canteen & in the ORTUS learning and events centre at 82 - 96 Grove Lane, Camberwell, London, SE5 8SN.

Opening times: Monday 4 June - Friday 8 June 09:00-17:00
