Join us for an engaging conversation on Navigating Pension Risk Reporting Transparency hosted by King’s Business School. This event will explore the evolving landscape of corporate pension risk disclosure and its implications on policy-making, capital markets, and stakeholder decision-making.

Dr Yong Li, pension accounting expert at King’s Business School, will be joined by Professor James Baird, a leading auditor with over 30 years of experience, to discuss the future of risk reporting transparency.

Key questions that will be considered include:

  • How is the role of auditors in pension risk reporting evolving?
  • What are the broader financial externalities of corporate pension risk disclosure?
  • What insights from research can UK firms leverage to improve risk transparency and communication with stakeholders?

This event offers a unique opportunity to participate in a thought-provoking dialogue to share insights and shape the future of pension risk reporting.

This session will be followed by seminar delivered by Professor Baird (13:45 – 14:45) on "How Audit Partners Make Decisions”.

Attendees are welcome to attend either or both sessions with sign up via this link. Lunch will be served from 12.00pm providing an opportunity to network.
