The documentary will be followed by a discussion with Nirmala Rajasingam, political activist from South Asia Solidarity Group and sister of Rajani, on the making of the documentary and current human rights situation in Sri Lanka, and Quhramaana Kakar, Conciliation Resources, exploring the importance of women as activists and peacemakers in their countries.

The event is co-sponsored by War Crimes Research Group and Gender Studies Network to mark the Human Rights Day on December 10th 2019
