You’re invited to join colleagues and delegates for the 7th annual NuFor conference being held 07 – 09 October 2025 at the Institute of Physics Headquarters, London in partnership with King’s College London.
NuFor is a three-day technical conference that brings together experts from academia, industry and government, to share developments in the field of Nuclear Forensics to a wider multi-disciplinary audience. The conference highlights the role Nuclear Forensics plays in underpinning sovereign security and the opportunities that exist for those entering the STEM education pipeline, as well as promoting the exchange of information and best practice between the wider international community.
NuFor’s opening day features talks from leading nuclear industry speakers, followed by two days of technical sessions, a showcase conference poster session focusing on cutting edge research being carried out in the field of Nuclear Forensics, trade exhibition and a generous social program.
NuFor is an accessible and inclusive space, allowing a platform for all, from early careers scientists to subject matter experts, to come together to share their contributions in this exciting and unique field. They provide a diverse technical program supplemented with a generous social program throughout the duration of the conference.

Abstract Request
NuFor is requesting abstract submissions on several topical areas, including:
- Analytical Techniques
- Conventional Nuclear Forensics
- Data Analysis and Statistics
- Environmental Science
- Materials and Processing
- Modelling and Simulation
- Radiochemistry
- Sensor and Detection Technologies
Abstracts are being accepted for both A0 sized posters, including a 1-minute elevator pitch, and up to 18x 20-minute oral presentations, including a 5-minute question and answer session.
The final date to receive abstract submissions is 15 August 2025.
Nuclear Forensics directly supports national nuclear security and is reliant upon access to expertise from across the nuclear industry, academia and beyond. Many people from a diverse range of disciplines have experience and knowledge that could be invaluable to Nuclear Forensics, which by sharing will help support this exciting and important scientific field.
