Jack Drum Arts are running a series of satellite events in County Durham as part of the ESRC Centre for Society and Mental Health 2022 Festival: Partnering for Change with a focus on community gatherings, recognising the importance of bringing people together for shared experiences, being creative and supporting wellbeing.

See below for activities taking place on Wednesday 22nd June. 

Happiness Hub

11:00 - 14:00, St Cuthberts Centre, Church Hill, Crook, County Durham

Suitable for adults age 18+. Join our Happiness Hub workshop for a fun arts and crafts workshop delivered by local artist Anna Harding and create a beautiful memory box to store precious memories of family, friends or home. Stay for a shared lunch and meet some of our regular members.

Games Night

18:30 - 20:30, St Cuthberts Centre, Church Hill, Crook, County Durham

Suitable for young people age 11+. Young people from our Cree Connections youth mental health group will be working with a games designer to create their own novel board games inspired by themes of community, the environment and role play. This regular group is part of the County Durham Cree network supporting health and wellbeing through provision of a regular social group.
