Law & Professional Practice MSc/PGDip

The MSc Law & Professional Practice is a two-year postgraduate degree, with the first year available as a stand-alone Postgraduate Diploma. It enables graduates without prior legal education or training in the UK to prepare for a career in an evolving and competitive sector as a solicitor or barrister, providing a comprehensive and rigorous graduate introduction to law and practice.

About this event

The way we practise law is changing. In an increasingly tech-enabled world, clients require us to rethink the nature of legal services - to be imaginative. Legal practice professionals must harness not just the law and their skillsets but also technology to meet this call. Legal innovation and legal technology have become the new key drivers for legal practice: legal tech revenue is expected to reach USD 25 billion by 2025.

Join the Professional Law Institute’s Sam Malhotra and Mike Butler (former law firm partners and co-leads of the Legal Practice Technology module for the MSc Law and Professional Practice) and Adam Curphey (Senior Manager of Innovation, Mayer Brown and leading contributor to the Legal Practice technology module) for insights into the new legal technology skills and adaptive mindset that you need to be developing now to stand out in your future careers as legal practice professionals and how these skills are being taught by leading practitioners and academics on the King’s MSc Law and Professional Practice.
