About the event

We invite you to join King's Business School and the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl) as we host the fourth in a series of videoconferences exploring topics relevant to the future of the people component of defence and beyond. Following the success of previous events on Wellbeing in the Future Workplace, Robotics and Automation and Leadership in the Future Workplace, we are pleased to present the exciting topic of Human Augmentation.

We are honoured to be joined by Brigadier Tim Hodgetts, soon to be Surgeon General; Dr Jakob Stollberger, Lecturer in Organisational Behaviour at Aston University; and Rene Nevola. All speakers will deliver short talks that will identify particular opportunities and challenges in the field of Human Augmentation. There will then be plenty of opportunity for the speakers, with the addition of a panel of subject matter experts, to discuss the issues raised and field questions from the audience. There is the facility to send questions for the speakers/panel in advance through the event registration form, and we would strongly encourage you to utilise this facility. Questions will also be taken from the audience on the day as usual.

To be added to the People Futures Community of Interest mailing list and receive the People: Horizons newsletters, please email DstlPOTRA@dstl.gov.uk.
