Chaired by Dr Phil Hubbard of the Urban Futures Group, this event will examine findings from a new report published by the Runnymede Trust and CLASS into gentrification in London.

The topic of gentrification has increasingly migrated out of the halls of academia and into the mainstream of British society in recent years. A new report published by the Runnymede Trust and CLASS uses a completely novel methodology to quantitatively measure the phenomenon of gentrification and its impact on the multiracial working class in London in the first half of the 2010s. Join Adam Almeida, Dr. Patria Román-Velázquez and Dr. Nigel de Noronha in discussing the report and its implications, as well as looking forward to the future of gentrification in our cities in the context of the coronavirus pandemic.
