Following on from our previous workshops in New York and London that reached over 70 doctoral students and ECRs, the Centre for Innovation in Teacher Education and Development in London will be holding our next workshop in June.

About the event

You'll get to take part in a number of workshops including:

  • Designing research in teacher education
  • Applying for funding for teacher education research
  • Publishing from your doctoral thesis
  • Understanding REF criteria in relation to teacher education research
  • Submitting to – and responding to – peer reviewed journals

Dr Keith Turvey

Principal lecturer at the School of Education at the University of Brighton.

Dr Mariana Souto-Manning 

Professor of Early Childhood Education and Teacher Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and Founding Co-Director, Center for Innovation in Teacher Education and Development (CITED).

Dr Felicia Moore Mensah

Professor of Science and Education and Associate Dean at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Dr Christine Harrison 

Professor, science education, at King's College London. 

Dr Viv Ellis

Professor, educational leadership and teacher development at King’s College London, and Founding Co-Director of the Centre for Innovation in Teacher Education and Development (CITED).

Workshop fees: £175 (£100 concessionary rate for students), including lunch on both days, refreshments and dinner on Thursday evening.
