Inaugural Lectures in the Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care are an opportunity for our Professors to introduce themselves and their work. Their lectures present an overview of their own contribution to their field as well as highlight the latest developments in their discipline to an audience consisting of both members of the university and the wider public.

Each lecture is followed by a reception. As well as being a great networking occasion for our research community, it is an opportunity for visitors to meet our researchers and find out more about how their work is improving people’s lives and healthcare systems around the world.
