The aim of these meetings is to provide a regular platform for the presentation and discussion of basic and clinical research into muscle biology, disease and therapy.

A major ambition is to provide a dynamic and broad program to promote interaction and collaboration between both basic and clinical scientists.

This series of meeting is a joint venture between:

  • King's College London
  • MRC Centre for Neuromuscular Disease - Institute of Child Health (UCL), Institute of Neurology (UCL), University of Newcastle upon Tyne
  • Royal Veterinary College

Registration is free, but if you wish to attend, please complete the registration form.

Please contact one of the following three people about the meeting: Pete Zammit, Simon Hughes, Baljinder Mankoo.

Venue

The meeting will be held in the Gordon Museum, Hodgkin Building, Guy’s Campus (see map).

The Gordon Museum is not open to members of the general public and please be aware that all forms of Photography, Filming and Social Media are prohibited whilst in the Gordon Museum.

Guy’s Campus is easily accessible by public transport and is served by London Bridge underground and mainline train stations.

London Bridge underground station is well connected to all of London’s mainline stations and all of London’s main airports have good connections to the mainline stations.

We do not recommend using a car to get to the Guy's Campus, as there are no car parking spaces at Guy’s. While car parking is available in public car parks, the daily congestion charge will be payable for entry into central London on week days from 07:00-18:30.
