The UK/Australia Season 2021-22 is a collaboration between the British Council and the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, under the patronage of Her Majesty the Queen.

The Menzies Australia Institute is delighted to be part of the #UKAUSeason and support a number of the art programmes across various platforms such as the National Museum of Australia’s award-winning exhibition, Songlines which is now showing at The Box in Plymouth.

This exhibition showcases ancient stories from the world’s oldest continuing culture, told through more than 300 paintings and objects by over 100 different artists. It's an epic journey that crosses three states, three deserts and some 500,000 square kilometres. With ceramics, paintings, sculpture, installation and film; it's an immersive experience that uses the power of art and culture to connect us across time zones and international borders.
