About the Centre

The Centre for Mexican Studies of the Universidad Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) at King’s College London joined forces with King’s Brazil Institute in 2020, starting a new partnership with the aim of reinforcing the Latin American expertise at the College.

As first result of this partnership, King’s Brazil Institute (KBI) and the Colegio de Estudios Latinoamericanos (CELA) de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la UNAM hosted the conference series Transatlantic reflections: King’s Brazil Institute at CELA-FFyL, with the participation of members of the KBI.

The Centre for Mexican Studies of UNAM promotes a diverse and intense agenda of activities about Mexican culture, history, and society.
