Please note: this event has passed

1st in the series of our Spring Days Out with the Chaplaincy.

This walk starts at the lovely Victorian train station of Box Hill and Westhumble, then climbs up to the peak of Box Hill following the way-marked Stepping Stones path. Enjoy the stunning and famous views before coming down and crossing the River Mole. We will stop off at a couple of lovely cafes for (free) refreshments.

This trip is open to all students and staff at King’s, of all faiths and none.

It is essential that you book your place in advance by emailing the Chaplaincy - chaplaincy@kcl.ac.uk - and you are required to book your own train ticket (if you book well in advance, an off-peak return with a 16-25 railcard is £7.25). Refreshments will be provided free!

Covid-19 Mitigations: The Chaplaincy team are very much hoping that these events can go ahead, as planned, especially as they are mostly outdoors. However, we will be keeping up to date with any changing restrictions and will abide by government advice at the time. Please make sure you bring a face mask to wear on the train journey and anywhere indoors (unless you are exempt from wearing a face mask), and we would strongly encourage you to take a lateral flow test on the morning of the trip to ensure the safety of the group and the wider public.
