Dr. Bruno Sainz (Instituto de Investigaciones Biomédicas "Alberto Sols", CSIC-UAM, Madrid) lab's studies cancer stem cells in the context of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, notably what new biomarkers can be used to detect them and what signals control their activation leading to oncogenesis.
