Christians have used three important texts as a basic summary for teaching the Christian faith and life: the Ten Commandments, Creed, and Lord's Prayer.
The Small Catechism, written by Martin Luther in 1529, includes these texts along with brief questions (What does this mean?) and explanations. We will use the Small Catechism as a starting point to our discussions as we learn about what these foundational elements of Christian teaching mean to us today. This is an opportunity to learn more about the Lutheran faith tradition as well as develop our own understanding.
Open to King’s staff and students only.
