Pictures, diagrams, videos, all these tools can help you to tell stories about your studies or your work. Hear why visual elements can add clarity and interest to your stories, discover techniques and tools for creating different visuals and find out how to ensure these visuals remain accessible.

Please have a notebook or some paper and a pen or pencil with you. No previous experience in art or design is required.

Facilitator Bio

Hana Ayoob is science communicator and illustrator. She's passionate about bringing people together to explore the world around them through science and art. Hana produces and speaks at events, runs creative workshops, provides public engagement and science communication consultancy, and works on science-inspired illustrations.  

About the programme

Creative Digital Skills is a new programme curated by King's Culture and open to all King’s students who would like to develop creative digital skills, through live masterclasses and curated asynchronous resources. The programme is part of a range of ways in which King’s students can learn and participate in the creative digital sector. Creative Digital Skills is part of King’s Edge, a skills-focused extracurricular programme running throughout spring/summer 2021 for King’s students with a focus on skills, employability and wellbeing.
