The show

'The 3rd Degree' is a light-hearted BBC Radio 4 quiz show that pits three students against three of their lecturers in a general knowledge and university subject quiz. It’s hosted by Steve Punt (of The Now Show), and recorded at a different University each week, in front of an audience composed of students and staff of the University.

Each of the students is studying one of the subjects taught by one of the three lecturers, so as well as questions on general knowledge and other classic quiz rounds, there are questions on their chosen degree subject as well.
