The cervix, ascending infection and preterm birth - where does it all go wrong?

Dr Natalie Suff is a clinical lecturer and registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She undertook her PhD at UCL where she developed mouse models of infection-related preterm birth and novel preventative therapies using gene transfer technology. She has a specific interest in cervical mucosal immunity and its role in preventing infection-related preterm birth.
