Current trends and debates regarding access to higher education, participation rates, and student enrolment in Europe.

The School of Education, Communication and Society and UNICA EduLAB Working Group are organising a one-day conference: The end of massification of Higher Education? The conference, organised within the Education and Society Dialogues Series, will take place on-site at King’s College London.

This one-day conference will comprise three panel discussions. Panels of university leaders, researchers and public authority representatives from Europe will discuss what they consider to be the most important current trends and most important public and public policy debates with regard to access to higher education. They will discuss contemporary views held by various stakeholders as investment, experiences and trends regarding funding regimes and how they impact the quality of higher education in all its three missions: education, research, and service to society.
