Scholars from across King’s, as well as partner academic institutions and representatives from relevant country case studies will come together for this workshop to discuss opportunities for collaborative research grant proposal applications.

This includes discussion around:

  • preliminary findings from a FRF-funded pilot study on interactions across global political economy dynamics (with a focus on China) and African states’ efforts towards addressing SDGs in relation to the real sectors of agriculture and manufacturing. Case studies include Ethiopia, Angola, Nigeria and Kenya.
  • areas of mutual research interest and possible collaboration for future research activities and research proposal writing
  • potential end-use communities in order to build research impact into preliminary grant proposal processes

This session is supported by a research grant from the King’s Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy Faculty Research Fund (FRF) 2018-19.
