This roundtable brings into conversation leading experts on and practitioners of diversity and inclusion in Higher Education.

In an informal style, the panel and audience members will spend time thinking through broader questions of how we enable and encourage change in higher education that leads to substantive inclusion and how do we become better allies of one-another.

Confirmed speakers include

  • Cristina Sechel (Sheffield) who will be presenting her research on gender and REF submissions in economics departments in the UK

  • Samina Zaman (King’s disability) who will be talking about her work with intersectionality in policy reform around BAME communities with disabilities

  • Evelyn Welch (Pro VC King’s) who will be providing an institutional response/reflection

  • Sarah Guerra (TBC)
