This event will explore current issues in health and social care settings for trans and gender diverse people. Examining what actions are needed to build a future in which people of all genders have equitable access to and experiences in health and social care, panelists will analyse the construction of sex and gender within medicine; consider the use of the Mental Health Act; and reflect on the lived experiences of trans and gender diverse people in healthcare.
