We are pleased to be holding a lecture session delivered in partnership with the Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, on 'Transforming Clinical Research and Practice through Humanities'. The lecture will be delivered by Dr Rajendra Badwe, Director of the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) and Dr Nishu Goel, Consultant & Programme Director at TMC, who will present on their approach to transforming clinical research and practice through the Humanities.

TMC, India's largest cancer treating institution, has led the development of a holistic and humanitarian model of care by incorporating the discipline of humanities into medicine. They will discuss their approach to transforming clinical research and practice through the humanities. As part of their work in this field, TMC has also pioneered a unique postgraduate course in patient navigation in oncology care, called KEVAT. The novelty of the programme is its in-depth training component (clinical and psychosocial), multidisciplinary student intake and the implementation network in the cancer care continuum. The session will introduce components of program design, methodology, implementation and roadmap for growth and sustainability.

The event will be held in person and streamed online via Microsoft Teams.
