About the Law with Criminology LLB

Our Law with Criminology LLB degree provides students with the core components of a traditional law degree, together with detailed knowledge of how crime, the criminal law and the criminal justice system are shaped by broader political concerns about the causes of crime and patterns of criminality and recidivism.

It is designed for students who are interested in socio-legal questions that extend beyond an understanding of specific legal instruments to questions about the construction of criminality and processes of criminalisation, the legitimacy of state punishments and definitions of, and differential access to, justice.
