Are you looking for the opportunity to do a one-off day of volunteering and make a real and immediate difference to the lives of young children living in poverty in London?

Whether you’re an expert organiser or simply looking for a way to make a difference to families affected by the cost of living crisis, you will have fun and gain new skills and insight, whilst making a real and immediate difference to families facing tough times.

I am a disabled mum of 2 that is pregnant with my 3rd and my husband had to give up work to be my full time carer and with all the cuts in grants etc we were really struggling to buy what we need for the baby so without Little Village’s help we would really be in a dire situation. Thank you all so much for all your help and support.

What you will gain:

  • You will have the opportunity to learn about how a baby bank operates and the reasons why child poverty exists in the UK.
  • You will be able to practice team working skills and use and develop your communication skills.
  • You will use your meticulous eye for detail to help quality check items and ensure they are of a high enough quality for us to gift to families.

Sign up to King's Volunteering and apply to volunteer with Little Village in Hounslow on 2 March.
