The Exchange, King’s College London is delighted to invite you to an online Learning Lab on 14 and 15 July 2021, involving artists and scientists to present their experiments from a 3 months’ research residency project developed in collaboration between Leverhulme Centre for Wildfires, Environment and Society and Arts Cabinet. The collaboration has been developed with the aim to shed light into this critical issue from a perspective of data and evidence, alongside possible representations and interpretations.

The Lab will open with keynotes from Professor Kate Schreckenberg from the King’s Department of Geography, Dr. Niall Sreenan, Research Associate at the King’s Policy Institute, Professor Apostolos Voulgarakis, Associate Director & Founding Director for the Leverhulme Centre for Wildfires, Environment, and Society and Dr Lucia Pietroiusti, Curator of General Ecology at the Serpentine Galleries, London and curator of Sun & Sea (Marina).

This project is made possible through the partnership of The Exchange, the Arts Cabinet and Leverhulme Wildfires, with generous support from the Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy (incl. Policy Institute and Department of Geography) and Leverhulme Wildfires. The project includes scientists from King’s College London, Imperial College London, University of Reading and Royal Holloway.
