The Global Student Recruitment and Admissions directorate delivers marketing, student recruitment and admissions services in partnership with Faculties, creating strategies to attract growing numbers of students from across global markets, as well as from the UK.
As a directorate we are responsible for the delivery of student recruitment targets, ensuring cohesive recruitment strategies and planning from lead generations and attraction, admissions, through to conversion and enrollment.
About the role
The Head of Student Marketing Funnel will lead a dedicated team in the development and implementation of innovative strategies that attract prospective students to the university.
Using extensive knowledge and experience in funnel marketing the role will expertly leverage digital media platforms, creating engaging campaigns to ensure a seamless transition of students through the marketing funnel.
The role will be responsible for delivering the pipeline of prospective students on an annual basis, demonstrating performance and ROI in achieving the university’s student recruitment and enrollment targets.
This is a full time post and will be offered on an indefinite contract.
About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:
Essential criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; Masters preferred and/or extensive experience in funnel marketing and driving successful marketing initiatives
- Experience with paid and social media, and email marketing to support omni-channel campaign
- Strong understanding of SEO and analytics, and proven experience in using findings to inform strategy
- Strong coaching, facilitating, and negotiating skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Experience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Experience in managing budgets and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Desirable criteria
- Experience working in marketing within the Higher Education sector.
- Proven experience and expertise with optimising performance across wide range of marketing communications channels
